AEAS is a public examination specially designed for international students wishing to enter Australian primary or secondary schools (Year 5-12). It is widely accepted as an entry test for private schools in all Australian States.

The AEAS Assessment Report provides a far wider range of information than any other available tests and may be used when applying for a place at many first class Australian schools. The AEAS Assessment Report provides an accurate assessment of the student's English language proficiency and the number of weeks intensive English language program that should be undertaken by the student, if necessary, before he or she enters the Australian classroom.

• Test covers:

  • English (oral, listening, reading and writing) - (2 hours)

  • Mathematical Reasoning (multiple choice) - (30-45 minutes)

  • General Ability (non-verbal) (multiple choice) - (approximately 30 minutes)

• Tests are usually held on Saturday from 9:00am to 12:30pm. Special test dates can be arranged by appointments.

• Test paper will be sent to AEAS Head Office in Melbourne for marking. Results will then be sent to the nominated Australian schools and a copy will be forwarded to parents through AEC. The report will be available in approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

• Test Fee

  • Test Fee: HK$2,400 includes reports for three Australian schools

  • Extra Fee: HK$50 for any additional copy of report to be sent

  • To be paid by cash or cheque (payable to Australian Education Consultancy Limited)

Application Procedure

Application must be lodged at least three days prior to test date. Please bring the following documents to AEC to lodge an application:

• Completed application form

• Test fee: HK$2,400(cheque payable to Australian Education Consultancy Limited)

• 4 passport-sized photos (must be taken within the recent 3 months)

• Student's school results for the last two years (original and 2 sets of copies) (F.5 graduates should bring along their HKCEE results)

• Please bring a pen, a dictionary and a calculator for the test.

• Once online booking form has been completed, your place will be tentatively booked until payment and required documents have been received.

Option 2 - FAX/ IN PERSON REGISTRATION
